Impact is hiring a Media Specialist to join our nationally ranked Best and Brightest workplace!  

The Media Specialist will be responsible for developing, executing, managing and reporting on a wide variety of multi-media campaigns to support our clients’ marketing objectives. The Media Specialist will be responsible for planning, buying, optimizing and reporting on media campaigns across all traditional and digital channels. This position will require the Media Specialist to have excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities 
- Develop and execute comprehensive media strategies and channel plans that support client business goals and campaign objectives across traditional and digital channels.
- Monitor campaigns to ensure performance goals are met and take corrective measures as needed.
- Use analytics and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns and assets and make recommendations for improvements while providing insights to inform future campaigns.
- Work closely with the creative and strategy teams to ensure technical campaign details and media assets are optimized for success.
- Adapt media plans to changing market conditions and customer behaviors.
- Negotiate with media partners to secure the most cost-effective ad placements.
- Develop and present campaign performance reports to clients.
- Stay up-to-date with current marketing and media trends and technologies to continually improve media quality and effectiveness.

Things We Are Looking For

- Proven work experience with minimum of 3 years as a media specialist (or similar) in the realm of marketing.
- Preferred hands-on experience with paid search (Google and Bing Ads), paid social (Meta, LinkedIn), CRM software (HubSpot, Salesforce), email.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field (not a requirement).
- Demonstrable experience working in both B2B and B2C environments, as well as specific client experience within the small to medium business sector.
- You can think outside the box to provide the client with new ideas (channel selection, strategy, etc.).
- Understanding of sales activation marketing and metrics such as Cost per Click (CPC), Cost per Impression (CPM), Click-Through Rate (CTR), Conversion Rate (CVR), and Return on Ad Spend (ROAS).
- Ability to analyze and interpret data from multiple sources, such as Google Analytics (GA4), Adobe Analytics, or Meta Analytics, to optimize ad campaigns and improve performance.
- Ability to extract strong takeaways and story tell from analyzing datasets.
- Experience with A/B testing and other experimentation techniques to improve ad creatives, landing pages, and other campaign elements.
- Ability to manage ad budgets effectively, monitor spend, and optimize campaigns to achieve maximum ROI.
- Analytical, critical and scientific thinker who knows how to accurately interpret data to identify and understand problems and enjoys thinking creatively to develop, implement and analyze solutions to ensure ongoing learning and incremental improvement.
- Inquisitive, persistent, courageous and authentic with ability to challenge data, assumptions and points of view while maintaining respect for the individual.
- Strong time and project management skills to plan, execute, and manage multiple clients simultaneously while meeting deadlines and staying within budget.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, clients, and external partners to develop and execute successful campaigns.
- Excellent writing skills to support creation of compelling copy that resonates with the target audience and drives engagement and conversion.
- Ability to think creatively and support development of innovative ad concepts and strategies that stand out in a competitive market.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
- Experience with media management and website content management tools such as Hubspot, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, Buffer, or similar platforms is desirable.
- Experience with lead generation strategies/tactics is a plus.
- Experience with research resources is a plus (SEMRush/Kantar/MRI/Ahrefs)
